What if I have a medical condition?

1)      At the time of registration, please notify us if you require any special accommodations. Every effort will be made to fulfill reasonable and appropriate requests.

What if I’m late to class?

2)     Since the core of most programs is taught at the beginning of class, you won’t want to miss a minute. In order to maximize training time, session start times are firm, so please plan to arrive 15 minutes early. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late you will not be permitted into the class, you will have to reschedule and a rescheduling fee will be assessed. If you miss a scheduled class, rescheduling requires full payment.

What kind of Class options do I have as an individual?

1) In house training- all of our courses are offered in house on various days throughout the month.  Register by calling the chapter or singing up online.

2) Web-based Online Training:

There are 2 versions

Online only is for students who do not have to complete an in-house skills session/test.  Currently it is for Bloodborne Pathogens training only and instructor review.

Blended Learning (Online materials/lesson training + In Office Skills Session & Testing)  Do the training at your own home or office, call and schedule a skills session (typically 1 hour) to complete your training and receive certification)

Go to Individual training tab- type in your zip code.  Select a Course Category:  Choose All or try a specific area of learning such as Professional Responder (CPR Pro).  Choose the course format: Blended learning.  Give a date range:  Note*  The date you choose should be a date you plan to have already completed the materials learning portion on your own, and will have scheduled to take your SKILLS portion in-house by that date.  So if you can be done in two days and have your test session scheduled by day three- pick a class that is 3-5 days from the day you register.  If you need longer- pick a further out date.  Last step is to come in on you scheduled day/time to do the skills portion at the office.  If you do not see the exact combination of the course you need to take- you can call our office during normal business hours and we can custom create that course for you!
